Zambian Emeralds Co. is an international producer of rare gemstones, with presence in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the Middle East.

Our Emeralds are ethically mined by Gemfields - a London Stock Exchange & JSE Securities Exchange traded company, and a world-leading responsible miner and marketer of coloured gemstones.
Once acquired, our raw Emeralds are being cut by master cutters to achieve the cleanest finalized premium quality Emerald, with excellent proportions and brightness.

The finalized Emerald is than being sent for inspection and grading by an independent, third-party, ISO 9001:2008 approved gemological laboratory in Antwerp, London, Ramat Gan or Zürich in order to be graded and certified accordingly.
The gemological laboratory verifies the Emerald's authenticity, grades its quality and issues an expert's opinion of its grading and appraisal of its value.

The results of this expert's opinion are than being documented in a formal Gemological Certificate, and the Emerald itself is being sealed by the head of the laboratory in a temper-proof security seal to be sent back to us.

That is the point in which only the Emeralds that obtained the highest grading and achieved the highest quality grades by the laboratory are being offered to you, our consumer, to be kept in your private collection, to be set in a fine jewelry or to be kept as an investment and store-of-value for your Family Office or hedge fund portfolio.
